Then the question becomes either about the realization of the potential of the employee, or about the sanity of the employer. It is impossible to deal with inadequate leadership for a long time, it is harmful to the psyche and further career. Also, one should not avoid applying one's own knowledge, especially acquired in practice. Show off your knowledge! Modesty in this case is the shortest path to the unknown.
